About Our Town Lotto

Our Town Lotto is run by Our Town Lotto Ltd., based in Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute, and registered as a small society lottery with Argyll and Bute Council. This licence is granted under the Gaming Act 2005. Details of this legislation can be found on the Gambling Commission website. Our Town Lotto will pass a minimum of 20% of profits to Our Town Trust in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 and by keeping costs low we aim to provide a far higher amount. To put this into context the National Lottery donate an average of 25% to good causes, and we aim to match that amount.

Our Town Lotto is the fundraising vehicle for Our Town Trust, which is a registered charity.

Our Town Lotto Ltd is an independent local company and is not affiliated to any other lottery company.

Our Town Trust, is a charity registered in Scotland, created to distribute funds received from Our Town Lotto to benefit the Helensburgh and Lomond community. Please see Our Town Trust pages for more details

A board of Trustees has been formed to process eligible applications received and award grants to those organisations and groups whose projects match the grant criteria.
